I work as a freelance digital photographer from my
base in Wheldrake, near York.
I have been trained in Portrait and Wedding
photography.
My experience includes a wide variety of work,
where my composition skills and ability to obtain relaxed and natural images
have produced very successful results.
During Ascot week, I worked at the Mariott hotel, taking photographs of guests before they left for the races.
This included work with a local hat designer to advertise fashion for the race
meeting.
I have worked at other events such as Christmas parties at the Next
Generation sports centre and recently covered a ministerial visit organised by
the Royal Town Planning Institute to a Housing project in York.
I have worked with many private clients providing portrait pictures.
My experience includes some commercial work, and I have had images published in magazines and publicity
material (e.g. for York Minster). I have taken photographs of performers
including jazz and other performance artists for promotional material.
